Jennifer Stephens, LPC

Hi, my name is Jenny. I am a fully licensed mental health counselor (LPC), as well as a school counselorI have worked with a wide variety of age groups in my years of teaching and counseling, with much of my experience being high school and college-aged students.

My specialty areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, school issues, relationship issues, and adjustment issues. I use a variety of treatment modalities which include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma informed therapy, mindfulness, and solution focused therapy.

I work hard to create a safe, relaxed, friendly, and collaborative therapeutic environment with my clients, so they feel comfortable opening up. This allows the therapist and client to come up with solutions together. I thoroughly enjoy working with my clients to help them feel heard so that they can implement solutions to deal with what they’re struggling with.
