It is my belief that we are all worthy of unconditional positive regard and capable of using personal strengths to overcome and manage many of the stressors that life throws our way. Sometimes we need extra guidance, support, or a fresh perspective to figure out what works for us, and that is what I would like to offer you on your trek to a healthier, happier you. Together we will navigate a variety of modalities and strategies designed to assist you in developing the perspectives and coping methods necessary to survive and thrive in today’s world.
Over the years, I’ve worked alongside of people experiencing a variety of concerns including substance use or process addictions, trauma/stressor disorders, personality disorders, OCD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, grief and loss, and peri/postpartum depression and/or anxiety. I hold a special place in my heart for moms experiencing the struggles and joys of motherhood, and as a fellow mom I invite you to take some time for yourself to relax, breathe, and recuperate.
Our sessions will be as structured or relaxed as you prefer to assist you in meeting your therapy goals. I implement an eclectic approach including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed treatment, Seeking Safety, positive psychology, women specialty, and dialectical behavior therapy-informed interventions.
